Your Challenges:

- Designing, developing and implementing comprehensive and well-structured test cases represents a main focus of your activities
- Furthermore, analyzing requirements and specifications to assert functionality is your area of responsibility
- You report and record software discrepancies
- You compare test results for different implementations of the same software and identify the root cause for any differences
- You work with technical staff to determine the best test methods for new software features
- You also support testing scenarios such as: new functionality that is not ready for automation, deprecated legacy code not worth the expense of automating, or exploratory testing to determine if more automation is needed
- You work with project tools used in testing the product and for automating test suites
- You identify and act on opportunities to improve the testing process
- Collaborating with international project teams
Your Profile:
You are a technology enthusiast who wants to change the world for the better. You are passionate about your work, driven by a problem-solving mentality and have the following skills:
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineer Sciences or an equivalent education
- Ideally, you have several years of professional experience in software testing, software engineering and Python scripting
- You have good knowledge of bug tracking and issue tracking tools
- You have good knowledge in the application of testing techniques and methodologies
- You have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Business fluent in German and English
- You’re a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
